Ibstock has been involved in brickmaking for over 175 years and is now an international group selling bricks and forest products in Europe and North America. Diversification and the constant adoption of new technologies have kept the group at the forefront of its markets. Factories throughout Britain produce over 300 brick types, including a full range of special shaped bricks and clay paving.

Ibstock is committed to the highest standards of quality. It operates comprehensive management systems in compliance with BS EN 9001: 1994, maintains BSI Registered Firm status and holds Kitemark licences.

Ibstock's Design Advisory Service exists to help create design solutions for architects working in brick and it has a network of design advisors with a depth of knowledge and experience second to none in the industry. Their brief is to help achieve the creative effects increasingly sought by today's designers. Each advisor has access to advanced CAD technology, enabling designs to be viewed in 3-D, producing a range of options for the designer to consider.

Ibstock is also active in the area of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and has worked in co-operation with the Construction CPD Certification Service to make a wide range of seminars, literature and a training video available to the industry.
