Planning for Recovery

Training Course

About the CPD Course

Recovery starts with planning rather than waiting until after the response phase is finished. It is a systematic process aimed at restoring services, supporting communities and strengthening long-term resilience. The incident recovery process is a vital part of any organisation's plan. It designates specific roles, establishes structures and prioritises tasks following a major incident. This process necessitates collaboration, coordination and community engagement. Through case studies and group discussions this hands-on training course will provide an immersive, informative and enjoyable experience. The course is fully aligned to the current Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP) doctrine and National Occupational Standards.
