About the CPD Course
This training provides useful strategies to make your organisation more accessible for staff and customers. Training is delivered by individuals with lived experience of disabilities and learning differences. Content includes, Legal requirements, Busines benefits, Getting the language right, Online accessibility and supporting staff and customers before first contact. Strategies to support the following categories of accessibility challenges, Mobility impairment, Vision impairment, Hearing impairment and deafness, Learning disabilities and issues with reading, Autism and Neurodiversity, Mental Health. The goal is for participants to leave with strategies they can use in their own organisations. Further resources are provided in follow-up material.
