About the CPD Course
The training session aims to enhance workplace understanding and empathy for neurodiversity while fostering knowledge of appropriate language and legal responsibilities. It encourages a flexible, person-centred approach when collaborating with neurodivergent colleagues and clients. During the session participants will share cross-organizational experiences, engage with accessibility ambassadors and identify 2-3 actionable steps to support neurodiverse colleagues. Content includes legal requirements, language etiquette, neurodiversity definitions, common diagnoses like Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia, immersive sensory overwhelm videos and practical strategies for neurodiverse-friendly working practices. Follow-up materials offer further resources tailored to session discussions promoting ongoing awareness and inclusivity.
