Strategies for Teaching and Learning Mathematics (Elementary School Level) Exploration and Concept Reconstruction

This seminar’s first strand aims to review the key principles & perspectives of competency-based education (CBE) in addition to comparing CBE with objectives-based education (OBE). It will also outline the core components of CBE and finally define the roles of both the teacher and the learner within a competency-based approach. The session will also provide a brief overview of standards-based education.

Providing the basic theoretical and practical information necessary for learning disabilities and related basic skills to identify, diagnose and treat children who suffer from these disabilities.

Amid global educational advancements, adopting an integrated model for managing professional licensing has become vital to ensure transparency, efficiency & continuous improvement. This project aims to strengthen the education sector’s capacity to manage licensing processes effectively by enabling stakeholders to plan, implement & oversee operations fairly and transparently. It develops a comprehensive theoretical & practical framework that supports efficient planning, implementation & evaluation of licensing. Additionally, it focuses on digitizing these processes through an advanced technological system that simplifies procedures and addresses challenges, aligning with international best practices while considering each educational system’s unique context.

This seminar aims to provide participants with knowledge and skills necessary to apply the concepts of performance indicators and its measurement in the context of strategic planning to set their own objectives. Furthermore, the seminar highlights the importance of the skills needed for setting and measuring performance indicators, and illustrate to participants the manner of its selection and analysis in order to support general strategic planning. Some examples of the adaptation of performance indicators with the actual strategic planning needs of educational institutions will be presented in addition to the practices in this regard and the challenges of its setting.

The program aims to provide knowledge, concepts, and skills for strategic planning in light of these experiences, with the aim of enhancing and developing strategic thinking among educational leaders, policymakers, and decision-makers in the education sector. Target group will be senior educational leaders/directors of departments, and directors of directorates in the ministry's headquarters. The overall output is developing the knowledge and skills of strategic risk and crisis planning among educational leaders in the Ministry of Education. The program falls within the framework of strategic planning and sustainable development plans with regard to the 4th goal (SDG-4) and its educational indicators.

This webinar provides an opportunity for participants to gain a deep understanding of the importance of developing lifelong learning skills, how to overcome obstacles facing the implementation process, and promote personal and professional growth in educational systems.

The workshop sheds light on the concept of artificial intelligence and the tools and applications that can be used in the educational process. Its topics also include a focus on benefiting from artificial intelligence and its applications in the process of supporting administrative decision-making and leadership of education systems and discussing the opportunities and challenges resulting from the spread of artificial intelligence and ease of access to it and the importance of working to develop plans and strategies to ensure that it is utilized to develop the educational process and local educational institutions in line with the culture, context and specificity of the communities.

The presentation aims to improve the educational environment in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, with a focus on making it appealing to the participants. The presentation addresses the current educational environment in these countries, while pointing out the main challenges and existing strengths. It also includes a review of the best global educational practices and how to adapt them to fit the Gulf cultural and educational context. The presentation focuses on developing effective action plans aimed at improving the educational environment. The presentation concludes with an interactive Q&A session, providing an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and experiences.

This webinar aims to develop the capabilities of trainers in educational leadership responding to the challenges of achieving sustainability in educational societies. Attention will be directed towards how trainers can achieve the integration of this concept into their training method and educational programs. The webinar includes a variety of activities and guided discussions aiming to improve teaching and guidance skills and how to activate the role of the coach as a means of stimulating sustainable thinking and motivation among learners. Moreover, the webinar also includes technology and the use of multimedia to enhance interaction, deep understanding and sustainability of education.
