About the CPD Course

The course runs 3 times per year with a maximum of 20 students per cohort. It is a specialist neurorehabilitation course for therapists and trainers accredited by Middlesex University and endorsed by UK Stroke Forum Education and Training. Spread over 5 months it features 3 days of Practical and Theory learning at ARNI Institute Surrey and 1 day of Theory at Institute of Neurology UCL, followed by a minimum of 1 day Shadowing and 1 day of Assessment. To submit for Accreditation 300 hours of learning activities are completed including online training. A case study of 3000 words is completed.

The UK ARNI Institute provides specialist rehabilitation and exercise support for stroke survivors and their families after hospital and community physiotherapy has ended. Currently in our 23rd year of voluntary work, we are committed to teaching stroke and other acquired injury survivors to gain better action control. Our Approach to stroke rehabilitation therapy is dynamic, innovative and linked directly to the very latest neurorehabilitation evidence base. We have over 140 highly qualified independent therapists and trainers around the UK active & available for you at any one time, trained via our Functional Rehabilitation & Exercise Training after Stroke Qualification.
