About the CPD Course

This 6-day specialist neurorehabilitation course for therapists and trainers can be completed remotely and runs twice a year with a maximum of 20 students per cohort. Spread over 6 months, it’s accredited by Middlesex University and endorsed by UK Stroke Forum Education and Training. Featuring 4 days Practical and Theory with Dr Tom Balchin OBE from ARNI Stroke Rehab Institute, 1 day of Theory by specialists from Institute of Neurology UCL and other Universities plus 1 Assessment day… after which a case study is completed for Accreditation & Certification. There’s also an optional in-person Practical Rehab Training day to attend.

The UK ARNI Institute provides specialist rehabilitation and exercise support for stroke survivors and their families after hospital and community physiotherapy has ended. Currently in our 23rd year of voluntary work, we are committed to teaching stroke and other acquired injury survivors to gain better action control. Our Approach to stroke rehabilitation therapy is dynamic, innovative and linked directly to the very latest neurorehabilitation evidence base. We have over 140 highly qualified independent therapists and trainers around the UK active & available for you at any one time, trained via our Functional Rehabilitation & Exercise Training after Stroke Qualification.
