This Attachment Training has been developed to help you gain a better understanding of the role of attachment in children’s development and learning and the different approaches that can be used to help support children and the benefits of doing so for children.

This training aims to provide participants with a better understanding of causal factors of children’s behaviour, positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies. To provide the participants and their settings with the confidence and training to encourage and foster positive behaviour practices and to reduce the need for restraint. Helping to protect and safeguard colleagues and children.

This training has been developed to give you a knowledge and understanding of positive classroom management strategies. Including a range of skills, qualities, styles and techniques to support you to create a high-achieving learning environment with a positive classroom culture for all learners.

This programme is intended to support participants to understand what Complex Trauma is and be able to identify the risks factors and the different types of trauma. Participants should be able to understand the impact on brain development and the behaviours and consider strategies to support students who may have experienced Complex Trauma.

This training has been developed to give you a knowledge and understanding of EBSA. Developing your confidence and skills in supporting pupils who may have, or are experiencing EBSA. Helping you gain an understanding of what EBSA is? Looking at what Guidance and support is available. Also what to look out for, the risk and protective factors and how to respond and support appropriately. The expectations for schools and how schools and families can support pupils who are experiencing EBSA.

This training aims to provide participants with a better awareness of Emotion Coaching and what it involves. How it supports children and young people's emotional regulation and how the approach works.

This training aims to equip staff to recognise and respond to harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) confidently and appropriately. Participants will distinguish HSB from developmentally typical sexual behaviour, understand safeguarding, legal and Ofsted responsibilities and identify who is most at risk and why. The session covers warning signs, consent and the potential consequences of HSB, alongside practical protective strategies such as healthy relationships education. Staff will also learn graduated reactive responses for incidents of varying severity, including nude and semi-nude image sharing and understand when concerns must be escalated to external agencies, including the police.

Child2Child Massage is a simple initiative that can be used for 10 mins each day by participants in various settings. This work uses the body’s own responses to address balance and harmony. The good feelings help to keep participants calm, positive, focused, and motivated. Participants choose whether they wish to take part in the massage. Evidence tells us it empowers children to safeguard themselves and have an understanding of what positive touch is. There are so many people within our society that are at risk of developing, a mental health issue, we feel it is vital to teach everyone the value of positive touch.

The Lunchtime Supervisors Training Programme aims to support participants with managing challenging behaviour by using positive language, de-escalation and limiting escalation from students and staff. Provide participants with a better awareness of SEMH difficulties in the context of child development. To understand responses, emotions and to provide strategies to promote positive behaviour and manage challenging behaviour effectively & assertively. Looking at what Frameworks, Legislation and Guidance are available. Also, what signs/indicators to look out for and how to respond appropriately. The role of other agencies involved in Safeguarding and the benefits of having a positive safeguarding culture.

Safer schools aims to provide you with a greater understanding of causal factors of children’s behaviour, positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies. To offer your setting the confidence and training to encourage positive relationships to reduce the need for restraint only when reasonable, necessary and proportionate. The programme is first and foremost designed to show how to follow the steps needed to stop situations escalating with individuals. The training provides Leadership with the knowledge and understanding of the Legislation, Guidance, Health and Safety requirements around physical restraint. Helping to protect and safeguard colleagues and children through a Graduated Approach.

This training has been developed to give you a knowledge and understanding of Sensory Circuits. The training also looks at sensory integration, providing practical examples and considerations. Giving you the opportunity to create your own sensory circuits. Also helping you to develop your confidence and skills in supporting learners who may benefit from using Sensory Circuits.

This training aims to give participants an introduction to the PACE Approach, an understanding of the impact of developmental trauma on brain development. PACE in practice and making sense of and managing behaviours with PACE.

This training has been developed to give you a knowledge and understanding of supporting transitions for children and young people in schools. It considers the different transitions and the effects this may have on children and young people. It also looks at the Transition Theory, the Four S’s and putting theory into practice.
