About the CPD Course

Athona Education will be holding a training and support session for their professional community of teaching assistants. This training session will be led by Athona Education’s Training and Development Executive, and experienced primary school teacher, Sarah Rogers. Sarah will be supporting teaching assistants by guiding them through the training and sharing plenty of advice and tips and tricks. The training will include a number of topics, including, how to be an effective teaching assistant, supporting the teacher in their role, and gaining a deeper understanding of school expectations, requirements in various year groups, and safeguarding priorities. This online training session will also provide teaching assistants with tools for effective behaviour management. Each session will close with an interactive quiz, and a Q&A, for further support.
