Using a Structured Approach for autistic people

This course will explore the key characteristics of autism that may impact on a person’s anxiety and stress levels. Delegates will explore a range of strategies to help increase emotional understanding, emotional regulation and coping strategies to help an autistic individual reduce the impact of anxiety. The course will also explore how you can minimise anxiety triggers or autistic people within your professional role or service.

This course will provide practical ideas that can be used to support autistic females particularly in the areas of routines and organisation, sensory, communication, emotions, self-esteem and relationships.
