Information Asset Owner (IAO) training

This course was developed for IAOs who want a greater understanding of their roles and responsibilities. This will allow them to provide assurance to the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) that their information risk assets are organisationally acceptable and compliant with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by evidencing Privacy by Design, implementing Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and managing their Information Asset Register. It is an interactive session where complex challenges and demands are debated and considered with practical solutions offered. Roles and responsibilities of key supporting roles such as the Information Asset Administrators (IAAs) are also covered.
