About the CPD Course

This course will provide staff with basic lifesaving first aid in the workplace, it cover the - role of a first aider, Health and safety (first aid) regulations, first aid priorities, managing an emergency, establishing communication with casualty, resuscitation (adult and child CPR) unresponsive casualty and the importance of putting casualty in recovery position, managing incidents and accidents - burns and scalds, choking, bleeding heavily and managing someone suffering from shock, epileptic seizures, how to monitor a casualty, where to get help, electrical incidents, accident recording and reporting, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and contacting emergency services 999 call
