Through interactive teaching and high-fidelity simulation, delegates practise the systematic management of cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndromes, unstable tachycardia, symptomatic bradycardia, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. The course supports evidence-informed decision making, leadership, closed-loop communication, and crisis resource management. Delegates apply structured algorithms in realistic clinical scenarios, strengthening their ability to perform safely and effectively during time-critical emergencies in hospital, critical care, and emergency settings.

This full-day face-to-face provider course equips prehospital and in-hospital healthcare professionals with the knowledge and clinical skills to recognise, assess and manage adult stroke emergencies. Delegates practise structured neurological assessment using the MEND examination, apply prehospital stroke scales and LVO screening tools, and manage acute ischaemic stroke, intracerebral haemorrhage and subarachnoid haemorrhage through high-fidelity manikin simulation. The course covers reperfusion decision-making, blood pressure management, anticoagulation reversal and team communication. Approximately five hours of the contact day are dedicated to hands-on simulation, skills practice and observed practical assessment.

Clinical Skills in Peripheral Venous Access: Venepuncture, Blood Sampling and Peripheral IV Cannulation This face-to-face training course equips doctors, nurses and nursing/medical students with the knowledge and practical competence to perform peripheral venous catheterisation (PVC) and venepuncture safely. Delegates apply the Aseptic Non-Touch Technique (ANTT) framework, correct vein and site selection, and the standard order of draw for blood collection before practising extensively on high-fidelity venepuncture and IV cannulation training arms. The course covers PVC complications, venepuncture precautions and the use of vein-finder devices for difficult venous access. Approximately three hours of the contact day are dedicated to hands-on skills practice and an observed practical assessment.
