About the CPD Course

This course, designed for individuals with additional support needs, builds essential money management skills across four interactive sessions. Participants learn to distinguish between essential and non-essential spending, create personal budgets, and explore saving and borrowing strategies. Through engaging activities like the Jellybean Game and Meal Deal Challenge, they gain practical experience in managing income, reducing expenses, and planning for independent living.

Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) was established in 1955 and we currently have a dedicated team of over 210 employees that provides care and support to some 100 individuals in the Scottish Borders. Brothers of Charity as an organisation, was founded in Belgium in 1807 by Brother Joseph Triest to provide education and care to disadvantaged and vulnerable people. Today its mission remains, and it is represented in thirty countries around the world
