This course is intended for those who have management responsibilities on a construction site and therefore targets site supervisors, site managers, assistant site managers, site agents and site foremen. It will provide candidates with an introduction to environmental issues on construction sites. It is designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contract chain are required to prove to major contractors, and covers the environmental aspects of the new touch screen Health, safety and environment test.

This course provides a practical summary of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities, employers duties and what should be done if health and safety is put at risk.

The course is for those who have entered, or are about to enter the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce, and is to help them understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site.

This one day course sets out to cover what constitutes temporary works, how they are used, their safety critical importance, common temporary works issues and the temporary works management process. The course will also update delegates on the latest publications and issues relating to temporary works. The course is designed to provide training for those involved in the temporary works process but who are not undertaking the role of the Temporary Works Co-Ordinator or Supervisor. The course is designed for candidates who have limited or no previous knowledge of temporary works.

This one day course is designed for Company employees who will be expected to understand the role of Principal Designer or Principal Contractor on their own company construction projects. It is not intended to enable delegates to act as Principal Designer or Principal Contractor in their own right.
