This course will provide decision-makers with the ability to develop a 360-degree view of climate change and the implications for society. In this course, you will learn how to captivate an audience from the very first words you write or say, techniques for making a mark with memorable messages, and how to find and use the power of your own unique style. You will also explore the importance of being crystal clear on your story, the effectiveness of simplicity, incisive writing and speaking techniques, using logic and emotion to influence and persuade, how to adopt positive body language to help you command an audience, and the remarkable but all too often underappreciated art of storytelling.

Discover the what, when and why of control engineering. Participants will learn to identify opportunities for feedback and control in their professional context and develop the skills needed to effectively use Matlab and Simulink to analyse and design control systems. They will look at performance specifications and theoretical limits on what can be achieved, as well as discuss sensors and actuators. Using case studies, the course will show how guiding principles for sustainable infrastructure can deliver better solutions in practice. We will look at the process of change and innovation and investigate the use of specific tools and methodologies which can apply to planning, design, construction and operational issues in the infrastructure sector.

Our online course, ESG Risk Management, provides managers across all sectors with a comprehensive introduction to ESG risk management practice.
