CDM Awareness for the Domestic Installer

This 6-hour workshop has been created to provide a full overview of the latest revision to BS 7671,2018 'Requirements for Electrical Installations - IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition' brought about by the release of Amendment 2,2022. It is aimed at those who are required to have a good working knowledge of the latest version of this core industry standard, by updating and building on previous understanding of this topic.

This course provides the required knowledge to be able to design a commercial system for compliance to BS5266/EN1838. Delegates will gain knowledge in designing emergency lighting and escape lighting systems.

This course is designed for practicing electricians who are looking to gain knowledge of designing and commissioning emergency lighting systems and all relevant documents that are applicable to BS 5266/EN1838. There are no formal entry requirements to attend this course.

This course provides the required knowledge to be able to maintain/test a commercial system for compliance to BS5266/EN1838. Delegates will gain valuable knowledge in maintaining/testing emergency lighting and escape lighting systems to meet with the requirements of BS5266.

This course looks at Fundamentals of BS 5839 Parts 1 & 6 providing understanding of legislation and standards that relate to fire detection and fire alarm systems along with the basic principles of fire and fire behaviour.

This module provides an understanding of the commissioning process of fire detection and fire alarms systems to BS 5839 1,2013. And be able to commission installations for non domestic premises. Prior to joining the commissioning module you must have completed the Unit 1 that covers the fundamentals of Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems BS 5839 1.

This course provides understanding of the design process of fire detection and fire alarms systems to BS 5839-1,2013. It will also enable you to complete designs for non-domestic premises. Before enrolling in this course you must have completed the Unit 1 the fundamental course in Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems BS 5839 Part 1&6.

This module will help you to gain an understanding of the maintenance process of fire detection and fire alarms systems to BS 5839-1,2013. And be able to inspect and service installations for non-domestic premises. Before joining this course you must have completed the Unit 1 entailing the fundamentals of Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems BS 5839-1

Before joining the Unit 3 course you must have completed the Unit 1, which covers the fundamentals of Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems BS 5839-1.
