This 6-hour workshop has been created to provide a full overview of the latest revision to BS 7671,2018 'Requirements for Electrical Installations - IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition' brought about by the release of Amendment 2,2022. It is aimed at those who are required to have a good working knowledge of the latest version of this core industry standard, by updating and building on previous understanding of this topic.

This course is designed for practicing electricians who are looking to gain knowledge of designing and commissioning emergency lighting systems and all relevant documents that are applicable to BS 5266/EN1838. There are no formal entry requirements to attend this course.

This course provides the required knowledge to be able to maintain/test a commercial system for compliance to BS5266/EN1838. Delegates will gain valuable knowledge in maintaining/testing emergency lighting and escape lighting systems to meet with the requirements of BS5266.

Prior to joining the commissioning module you must have completed the Unit 1 that covers the fundamentals of Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems BS 5839 1.

Before enrolling in this course you must have completed the Unit 1 the fundamental course in Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems BS 5839 Part 1&6.

And be able to inspect and service installations for non-domestic premises. Before joining the Unit 3 course you must have completed the Unit 1, which covers the fundamentals of Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems BS 5839-1.
