About the CPD Course

The ‘123 Approach’ to Health Inequalities training has been developed by the Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance (CMCA) as a way to empower NHS staff working in cancer services to understand and tackle health inequalities themselves. This approach encourages staff in all areas of the organisation to see health inequalities as their own responsibility and supports them to take action.

Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance

The ‘123 Approach’ to Health Inequalities Facilitators training has been developed by the Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance (CMCA) to equip learners with the skills needed to deliver the face-to-face 123 Approach to Health Inequalities training, and to inspire change within their own teams / departments / organisations. The programme has been designed in collaboration with people who have lived experience of cancer and NHS colleagues working across the cancer pathway. The course is fully funded, and aligned to the ACCEND framework. It should take around 60 minutes to complete.
