CT Protect Training course

Behaviour Detection training for covertly deployed security personnel within events or controlled environments. A three day covert BDO training course will provide attendees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adopt a consistent and standardised approach to the identification of suspicious or threatening behaviours. Leading to appropriate interventions to aid the prevention or detection of offences and offenders by applying strategies to enable appropriate resolution.

Training of managers who have responsibility for Behaviour Detection deployment activity in support of security operations. Addresses core aspects of BDO Process and personnel management from operational planning, recording of activities, tactical consideration, decision making and practical application of BDO Management skills and knowledge.

Key areas covered are security, safety and counter terrorism / extremism.

This is a short input course aimed at providing candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to understand the potential Terrorism, Crime and Protest threats within their Organisational environment, to adopt consistent and standardised approaches to enable Effective Decision making to mitigate or respond to such threats. Leading their peers, candidates will feel confident and competent in gathering and assessing relevant information, identifying options, deciding on a course or action, reviewing and reflecting on their actions in support of organisational goals.
