Type 1 Diabetes Awareness in Primary School

This course is for anyone who looks after a child or young person in a Primary School in the UK with Type 1 diabetes. It will support you to gain a better understanding of managing Type 1 diabetes in school. These courses are designed for school staff looking after a child living with Type 1 diabetes, to better understand their care needs. This is awareness training and is not designed to replace individualised care given by a child's or young person's hospital team. It will cover an introduction to Type 1 Diabetes and various aspects of care in school.
