Asta Easyplan

This is a two-day training course for those who need to use the 4D planning capability provided by Asta Powerproject 4D. At the end of Day 1 delegates will be able to import and link an IFC model to a project in order to visualise the build in 4D. At the end of Day 2 delegates will be able to work with different views of the model, import & animate site objects, run comparisons comparing to a baseline and generate different model outputs.

This half-day course provides a practical introduction to Asta Connect, equipping participants with the core skills needed to get started with collaborative planning and project coordination in a digital environment. Designed for new users, the session walks attendees through the key functions of the platform—from initial login and user setup through to creating projects, developing pull plans, managing digital whiteboards and updating task progress. By the end of the session, participants will understand how to configure and use Asta Connect to support effective team collaboration, visual planning and live project updates.

Delegates will learn how to create, structure and add key information to projects. Once created delegates will also learn how to update and progress the programme through it’s lifecycle.

You will learn to create tables, use filters and sorts for reporting and understand how to monitor progress against a baseline.

At the end of the course, delegates will feel confident creating and updating projects in Asta Vision and the use of Asta Vision through Asta Powerproject. Have the confidence to Check Out a project from Asta Powerproject and produce a programme ready to be sent to bid for a job and ultimately winning that job and progressing the programme to its conclusion. Understand the companies workflow within Vision, for example when and who to send approvals to before moving a project to the next programme type.

You will gain the skills to work smarter, faster, and safer in today’s connected work environments.

This is a one-day training course designed for individuals who have some experience of Asta Powerproject and need to manage project costs and/or resources within Asta Powerproject. At the end of the course, delegates will be able to allocate costs and resources to tasks and report on these allocations using the spreadsheet and histograms. They will also be able to compare and report planned versus actual data using baselines.

Training course covers assigning costs and resources to project tasks and producing reports based on this information.

1 day introduction to Powerproject designed specifically for housebuilders.

This is a one-day course for users who want to explore the progress functionality and produce S-Curves to monitor progress in Asta Powerproject #At the end of the course, delegates will be able to progress their projects using all the latest features of Asta Powerproject and produce an S-Curve report in both Asta Powerproject and Excel.

A 1 day course for more experienced users of Powerproject to examine different methods of progress reporting and producing S curves for progress.

This is a one-day course for anyone using Asta Powerproject with the New Engineering Contract (NEC). The course focuses on the ways in which Asta Powerproject software can be used to satisfy the programme requirements of the contract, not how the contract itself should be implemented. At the end of the course, delegates will, through the use of specific exercises and examples, understand how Asta Powerproject can be used to satisfy the programme requirements of clause 31.2, clause 32.1 and compensation events in core clause 60.1 within an NEC contract.

A basic introduction to the ShireSystem maintenance system, concentrating on everyday functions. Delegates will be taught how to search and select, control the job list, add additional breakdown and corrective jobs, sign off work and carry out basic reporting. This course is designed for people who need to perform day-to-day operations on the system or as a primer for the two-day ShireSystem Maintenance Set Up Course.

After this course the delegates will be able to, Device set up and linking to ShireSystem, Searching for and filtering work orders, Starting and completing work orders, Accounting for parts used in a work order, Using barcode / QR code scanning for assets, parts, or people, Creating new work orders in Mobile Pro, Passing work to other engineers, Creating follow on work orders.

At the end of the course, delegates will be able to create, assign and manage permits within ShireSystem.

Delegates will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Purchasing module, enabling them to implement and use the system efficiently for Purchasing inventory and creating/processing invoices. There are no special prerequisites for this course, beyond the general ones of basic computer and internet literacy.

The Super User Course is designed for System Administrators that will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the system. This will be a combination of the Maintenance User Course and Maintenance Set Up Course. However, it will look at modules that are not covered in the standard courses. The course will include Mobile Pro, Requester and Resource planner. All extra features of the course will have live demonstrations and will allow users to have a glimpse and try out modules that they might not be aware of.
