Gambling Harm Awareness

An interactions workshop where delegates will gain an in-depth knowledge of affordability and how this relates to interactions with their customers. Delegates will also learn how to better understand affordability through lived experience to enhance their skills to be better equipped to deal with affordability interactions.

A course developed to upskill delegates who have already undertaken Interactions Masterclass, so they can learn advanced techniques to excel their interactions with customers. This workshop style course blends activities with lived experience insights to gain marginal learnings that take them to interactions excellence.

EPIC’s comprehensive workshop involves skills-based learning for effectiveness of interactions. Course builds and refines soft skills associated with difficult conversations. Follows regulator approved framework. ‘Identify’ looks at markers of harm discussing what makes a person vulnerable and why that is important., illustrated by lived experience account from our facilitator who has experienced gambling related harm. ‘Act’ builds a skillset increasing confidence and ability when holding interactions with customers using active listening, effective questioning, selling skills for RG Tools, de-escalation techniques and managing emotions. ‘Evaluate’ shows interactions are effective and improving, helping overall customer experience and showing due diligence to regulators.

An interactive module for gambling operators where delegates will gain knowledge and skills that will equip them better to interact with customers who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts. Delegates will also learn through crucial lived experience as they are presented with a choice of videos to watch from lived experience people who have experienced the subject matter. Transfer of learning is gained through regular micro learnings and assessment from start to finish.
