About the CPD Course

This e-learning module aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of sarcopenia, frailty, and musculoskeletal disorders, including their aetiology and how to identify these disorders in the elderly. The module explains how sarcopenia, frailty and malnutrition can overlap, and sheds light on suitable nutritional screening and assessment tools. Learners will be able to gain knowledge about the nutritional requirements specific to sarcopenic, frail elderly patients, and familiarise themselves with evidence-based guidelines for the nutritional management of older individuals prone to malnutrition. Quiz questions at the end of the module enhance the learning experience and allow learners to evaluate their understanding.
