This course is designed for existing and aspiring board directors who are not from a finance background and need to build the essential knowledge in the field to be effective and drive company’s performance. It will provide a solid foundation in finance and accounting from a board-level perspective and will focus on the methods of raising finance, reporting financial information, considering investments, valuations and acquisitions as well as the best practices of working with both internal and external auditors. Throughout this course, participants will also examine some of the key challenges and learn how to overcome them.
