Do Not Attempt CPR (DNACPR), Implications for Practice

Training Course

About the CPD Course

Healthcare professionals are aware that decisions about whether or not CPR will be attempted raise very sensitive and potentially distressing issues for patients and those close to them. As a consequence there has been stand-alone professional guidance on CPR decision- making since the 1990s and guidance published jointly by the British Medical Association, Resuscitation Council (UK) and Royal College of Nursing since 2001. This Half day session is based on that guidance and aims to guide the practitioner to make the best informed decisions with their patients regarding end of life and CPR decisions. Course only offered in-house for groups and not for individuals.
