The ADHD Specialist Training Certification course is designed to provide healthcare professionals with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in diagnosing and managing ADHD in adults. The course covers key aspects of ADHD, including understanding its neurodevelopmental nature, recognizing symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, and assessing the functional impairments caused by ADHD. The course covers the structure and purpose of the tool, correct administration and informant preparation, item-level coding across developmental, language, social communication, and repetitive behaviour domains, diagnostic algorithm completion, and clinical report writing. Learners engage in video coding exercises, breakout case discussions, mock interview practice, and algorithm completion activities. The course also addresses differential diagnosis, the relationship between the ADI-R and current diagnostic frameworks (DSM-5 and ICD-11), and best practice for maintaining coding reliability.

This two-day specialist certification gives clinicians a rigorous, practical foundation in the ADOS-2. The course covers all five modules from Toddler through Module 4, including module selection, administration, coding, scoring, and Comparison Score interpretation.
