This one-day time management training course explores the need for reflection, planning, organising, setting goals and responding to day-to-day activities and demands. It'll also help you decide what activities give you the biggest return at work and in life. You will consider what methods of time management are possible in your situation and learn how to make time management a daily practice.

If you use Excel for budgets, timesheets, reports or other data that needs calculating, this advanced one-day course will improve your ability to organise and analyse data. Learners must be confident creating formulas that use Absolute Cell References ($ to fix cells when copied) and more complex functions like IF. You will take functions further and be able to make them more powerful by nesting them. Our public dates for this course are in the classroom and online, via Live Online Learning. This course is also available for private group bookings for your organisation.

By the end of this beginner one-day Excel course, you will be able to, Create, save, close, open and print spreadsheets, Insert and delete rows or columns in your spreadsheet, Get Excel to add up numbers automatically, Copy formulas in your spreadsheet, Sort large databases into order and filter to show only the data you need, Alter the look of the numbers and text, insert notes (aka comments), lay out text with merged cells and wrapped text, use cell styles, change the layout for printing, and Visually represent numbers and text (as a chart) in your spreadsheet, to make them stand out and easy to understand.

Formulas and Functions are the key to getting work done in Excel. If you are experienced in Excel but need to start building more complex calculations this one-day course (split over two half days) will help you to deepen your understanding.

This intermediate course is for anyone who has used Excel before and is confident with creating basic formulas e.g. adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. In this intermediate Excel course you will learn time-saving techniques including Absolute Cell References e.g. a multiplication that involves a fixed figure (such as VAT) and requires two-dollar signs (e.g. $B$4). You will explore more Conditional Formatting Settings use Range Names and several functions e.g. IF, SumIFs and CountIFs to analyse your data. You will also learn how to create a basic Pivot Table to summarise large sets of data quickly and easily.
