The Audiology Receptionist Course is designed to be both an introduction and refresher course for ‘front of house’ staff members in an Audiology based clinic.

This course is designed to introduce and educate delegates on how to properly take samples and test for traces of drugs and alcohol. It provides an extensive background of what to expect and cautions that must be taken to ensure a seamless appointment as well as outcome. Establishes the need for workplace drug and alcohol testing, to survey the safety of employees/members of the public. Taught using Matrix Diagnostics Drug tests and Point of Care and Chain of Custody forms as examples. Also shown with OneStep Alcohol Test strips and sample pots. Information taught in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

This Ear Anatomy and Otoscopy course is designed to be both an introduction and a refresher course for Healthcare Professionals. It will give you the skillset to practice gold standard otoscopy as well as gain an understanding of the anatomy of the ear. It will allow you to build or enhance on strong foundational skills into Audiology. All practices will be taught in accordance to BSA guidelines.

The Ear Wax Removal Refresher Course is designed to be a refresher course for Ear Wax Removal Specialists. It will give you the skillset to carry out ear wax removal via microsuction, water irrigation and manual removal. It is a 1-day course covering both theory and practical elements.

This course trains healthcare professionals in a range of aspects of ear wax removal, including micro-suction, water irrigation and manual removal. This is a two-day course, focusing first on theory and the second on practical. In the theory session, you will be provided with all the training necessary for ear wax removal and will be taught how to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy ears. During the practical session, eligible attendees can put what they have learned into practice in a clinical setting. This will include carrying out ear wax removal on real-life patients to build the confidence of our learners.

The Hearing Aid Course For Carers is designed to assist carers and others for those with hearing needs. It will give you the skillset to carry out hearing aid maintenance across different styles of hearing aids, such as filter changes, retubing, battery changes etc. It will cover the anatomy of the ear and common ear pathologies. Providing information on wax and how to maintain ear care relating to wax. This course covers both theory and practical elements.

The Microsuction Training Course is designed to be an introduction audiologist, hearing aid dispensers and other healthcare professionals. It will give you the skillset to perform earwax removal correctly and safely. This is a two-day course, focusing first on theory and the second on practical. In the theory session, you will be provided with all the training necessary for earwax removal and will be taught how to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy ears. During the practical session, eligible attendees can put what they have learned into practice in a clinical setting. This will include carrying out earwax removal on real-life patients to build the confidence of our learners.

This Course Is Aimed At Those With No Formal Occupational Health Specialist Qualification, But Who Contribute To The Delivery Of Occupational Health And Safety Services Within An Organisation. The Programme Aims To Provide Delegates With The Knowledge And Skills To Undertake Basic Occupational Health And Safety Tasks Within A Defined Field Of Competence Dependent Upon Their Backgrounds. On Completion Of The Programme, Delegates Will Be Competent To Undertake A Range Of Activities Either As A Lone Practitioner Or As Part Of The Wider Multi-Disciplinary Occupational Health Team, Including Basic Environmental Risk Assessments And Routine Health Screening Functions.

The Pharmacy First Otoscopy Training Course is designed to assist pharmacists in providing their local community with advice for ear care. It will give you the skillset to carry out safe otoscopy and will enable you to assess the health of an ear. This course covers safe manual otoscopy, basic ear anatomy, common ear pathologies and the clinical pathways relating to Pharmacy first. This course will have both theory and practical elements.

The Real Ear Measurements (REMs) course is designed to be both an introduction and refresher course for Audiologists & Hearing Aid Dispensers. It will give you the skillset to practice this gold standard procedure that objectively verifies frequency response in hearing devices, thus enhancing the quality of care for your patients/clients. All practices will be taught in accordance to BSA guidelines.

The Tympanometry course is designed to be both an introduction and refresher course for Audiologists & Hearing Aid Dispensers. It will give you the skillset to carry out tympanometry in clinics which can be very useful for patient centred care. Tympanometry measures the middle ear pressure and can help GPs make clinical decisions and onward referrals. All practices will be taught in accordance with BSA guidelines.

The Water Irrigation Training Course is designed to be an introduction to audiologists, hearing aid dispensers and other healthcare professionals. It will give you the skillset to perform earwax removal correctly and safely. This is a day course with both theory and practical on real life patients.
