The Inclusive Attendance Level 1 Accredited Professional Development Programme

The Inclusive Attendance Level 2 Professional Development programme builds on Level 1 training, helping school staff enhance their roles in improving attendance through a collective approach. Aligned with DfE 2024 statutory guidance, the programme supports schools in delivering professional development for all staff. The Level 2 course, structured around six Learning Modules, empowers staff to deepen their expertise in supporting children and families with attendance. Using case study scenarios, the programme demonstrates how schools establish and sustain attendance cultures. Grounded in research, it encourages reflection on innovative practices, fostering inclusivity and shared responsibility for attendance outcomes.

Our comprehensive six Learning Modules offer Governors the opportunity to not only enhance their knowledge but also develop a profound understanding of their specific roles and responsibilities in supporting, challenging, and holding the school accountable for attendance. Each module is firmly grounded in evidence-informed research, aiming to deepen understanding and encourage active engagement of Governors in the school's attendance strategy. Within these modules, Governors will have the opportunity to reflect and identify innovative approaches to improving the school's attendance practices through their unique roles.
