This will ensure that front line staff are supported to deliver a high quality service with the safety and protection of non-abusive partners and their children at the forefront of their minds, assisting people in getting the specialist support that they need.

Independent Domestic Abuse Service (IDAS)

A full day course to explore, understand and tackle the systems of abuse within domestic abuse. This course explores the additional risks to victims that may be subjected to these additional types of abuse along with conventional domestic abuse. The course will allow the trainees to spot the signs of HBV, FM and FGM and have the confidence and knowledge to support and/or refer these victims appropriately to the correct services.
