This 10-module course is designed to give a basic understanding of Horse & Stable Management. The emphasis is on correct and safe procedures, and the importance of equine welfare. The course is designed to provide practical strategies for those living with a disability to ensure they have an equal opportunity to achieve success. The majority of the sessions are hands-on, with lots of demonstrations and practical exercises, theory will be introduced and explained during the session. When all 10 modules have been passed the participant will receive the IdEAL Horse & Stable Management Elementary Certificate.

This is a workshop for everyone who is considering setting up and running an Equine Assisted Learning business. The workshop is designed for a small group of 4 to 8 participants as this provides sufficient time for everyone to experience the activities both as a facilitator and a client. During the course we’ll be providing you with examples of our policies, procedures, funding applications and other useful documents.
