About the CPD Course

The Safety Health and Welfare Act 2005 requires employers to ensure that employees are trained and competent in Manual Handling. This Manual Handling Course will help ensure that companies are compliant with the Regulations. It is designed to reinforce the theory of Manual Handling, that is sometimes forgotten once face to face training is completed. It will help ensure that staff have the knowledge to reduce manual handling injuries, which are a leading cause of work disability. Learners will have access to engaging course content, videos, interactive activities and quizzes throughout.

This is a Tutor led face to face workshop (classroom/zoom) that includes roleplay and practical application using a GDS Emulator. Learners will also have access to the Emulator at home to practice building Booking Files through self-paced practice.
