FIDIC has now brought DAB (1999) to Dispute Avoidance and Adjudication Board (DAAB) (2017) on a standing format, enhancing their role in a construction project. The course focuses on legal and contractual backgrounds, mechanisms, project management features and procedural rules. The course is built upon the new features of the 2017 FIDIC Forms and the sessions highlight the main differences between the 1999 Conditions of Contracts and the new 2017 Edition as to DAB/DAAB.

This FIDIC Claims and Disputes Course will bring you the necessary detailed knowledge and insights as to the claim management and dispute resolution provisions under the FIDIC Conditions of Contract, namely FIDIC Red & Yellow Book Contracts.

This practical training course explains and illustrates the use of the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Design, Build and Operate Projects (the “DBO Contract”). The course will elaborate on the Design Build period as well as the Operation Service Period while highlighting the risk allocation and responsibilities of the parties involved in the Contract. Real-world case studies are included to enhance understanding and application.

This practical training course explains and illustrates the use of the FIDIC EPC Contract (the “Engineering, Procurement and Construction/ Turnkey Contract” or “Silver Book”). The course focuses on the 2017 Silver Book, but the sessions also highlight the main differences between this and the earlier edition from 1999.Throughout the course, participants will be provided with case studies based on real projects and contracts. These will be used as the basis for homework to be completed between sessions.

This online training course will look at the 2nd Edition (2021) of the FIDIC short form of Contract. It meets the current demand of the international construction industry for projects where the perceived level of risk is low and/or where construction parties need a contract form that is simple to use and doesn’t require significant contract administration and management resources. Its key principles of balanced risk sharing while seeking to build on the substantial experience gained from the original Green Book’s use over the past 22 years are included.
