2 days of hands-on training in the provision of predictable aesthetic and functional direct anterior and posterior composite resin restorations. This course will allow you to learn and develop your existing skill set after being provided with live practical demonstrations and showcasing clinical cases that will allow provision of these restorations to your patients to be an enjoyable experience.

China as a cultural and political entity creates anxiety in parts of the world where liberalism has dominated for decades/centuries. Citizens, policy-makers, and the military are catching up on their knowledge of China to deconstruct the complexity of a country that hosts a fifth of humanity and whose foreign interactions have been characterized by ambiguity. This course explores those areas of ambiguity where Chinese actions are causing security dilemmas and to learn lessons that can be applied in other areas of foreign/security policy.

This course offers an overview of the disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration (DDR) of ex-combatants in countries recovering from conflict. It outlines the concepts, definitions, and types of DDR approaches that are followed by various international, and national agencies to demobilise armed groups, and to return and reintegrate their rank and file into civilian society. The course will map the evolution of programmatic efforts and how shifts have influenced DDR effectiveness. It also incorporates a gendered focus on the reintegration of women and girl combatants and on the age-specific needs of child soldiers and explores the issue of ex-combatant re-recruitment.

This 5-day course equips non-mental health clinicians with skills in the assessment and treatment of common mental health problems seen in people presenting to general hospital.
