2 days of hands-on training in the provision of predictable aesthetic and functional direct anterior and posterior composite resin restorations. This course will allow you to learn and develop your existing skill set after being provided with live practical demonstrations and showcasing clinical cases that will allow provision of these restorations to your patients to be an enjoyable experience.

This course gives delegates the necessary skills and knowledge to diagnose and treat cases of tooth wear in general dental practice. An array of practical techniques will be taught, which permit contingency planning. The course also covers clinical and applied occlusion.

This two-day course is aimed at providing General Dental Practitioners further knowledge and experience with both non-surgical and surgical periodontal management. Half of the course will be hands on practical sessions where you will also be improving your general surgical skills with sessions on day 1 and 2. This is an internationally used programming language which is free in an educational setting. This 5-day course equips non-mental health clinicians with skills in the assessment and treatment of common mental health problems seen in people presenting to general hospital. Recent reports, including the second Ockenden report highlight the impact of lack of inter-professional working and identify lack of knowledge as contributory factors to stalling national progress in reducing the rate of maternal death. The course has been developed to address the knowledge gaps that contribute to poor outcomes and indirect causes of maternal death, and the teaching cuts across a range of professions that have traditionally been taught in silos. It provides the opportunity for advancement of knowledge of obstetric medicine in a multidisciplinary setting which encompasses medical disorders in pregnancy.

The purpose of this course is to consider how wargaming might be used to analyse and develop strategy. We must consider what strategy is, how it flows from one’s understanding of victory, and how it is influenced by the choices of others. In applying wargaming to strategy, we must unpack wargaming as method by understanding its history, its unique features, and how it can be best applied to questions of strategic analysis. By the module’s end students will be able to evaluate if, when, and how wargaming might address some of the challenges organisations and individuals face today.
