The learning blocks cover Learning about homelessness and the Homelessness Reduction Act, understand how to handle applications from those at risk of homelessness and master the processes for awarding Prevention or Relief Duty. We provide a complete range of web-based housing option services for councils and their partners. Built out of a Government sponsored project, the West London choice-based lettings system went live in 2001. Since then, we have developed a wide range of complementary modules, products and services that are now used by local authorities and housing associations.

Locata Housing Services

The Expert Block covers Interview Skills, Casework Management and Decision-Making, Practical Prevention Casework, and Housing Allocations, rounding off the course by equipping you with essential skills for making informed decisions in complex homelessness scenarios, using interview techniques and practical casework strategies, and applying housing allocation law and practice to achieve successful outcomes. If you want to retain full access to blocks 7-10 after the year you need to subscribe to the Expert blocks member plan.
