Kinesio taping for Lymphoedema

A comprehensive lymphoedema training course for healthcare professionals designed to prepare the learner with, in depth anatomy and physiology of lymphatic and venous health, skills to enable a full holistic assessment and differential diagnosis of a lymphoedema patient, provide patient education and support, design and implement a plan of care ranging from self-management to intensive therapist led treatments, practical skills to include physical assessment, measuring and fitting of garments, multi-component bandaging (MCB), fluoroscopy-guided manual lymphatic drainage (FG MLD ®). The learner will be fully prepared for a Specialist Lymphoedema practitioner role.

A 4-day course provided by a team of international experts providing the latest research and guidelines for lipoedema and comprehensive overview of the condition and other fat disorders. Focus on the underlying cause, diagnostic process including assessment, staging and treatment. Treatment options such as surgery (pre and post operative care), garment measuring and provision as well as Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and exercise.
