About the CPD Course

The course aims to provide comprehensive training on all aspects of cardiac surgery, from preoperative preparation to postoperative care. Learners will gain knowledge and skills in medication preparation, surgical scrubbing and gowning, anaesthesia devices, sterile item reprocessing, and types of valves used in valve surgery. They will learn how to manage lines, tubes, and catheters, as well as how to handle complications during open heart surgeries. The course will cover surgical suture techniques, deep hypothermia management, and hemodynamic monitoring for safe patient transfer. In emergency situations, learners will be trained on immediate chest opening to ensure optimal outcomes for patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
