Module 4, Ear Microscution

The course will equip delegates to be able to conduct Ear irrigation practice in a community pharmacy.

This course provides comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge on GLP-1 prescribing including the clinical governance surrounding these medications as well as key considerations such as cautions and contraindications. Participants will also learn best practices for ensuring safe prescribing and how to effectively establish a weight loss clinic within a clinical or pharmacy setting all in accordance with GPhC guidelines.

The training will train you to be competent in phlebotomy/cannulation, in addition to providing intravenous infusions to patients. You will trained on fluid management, assessment, NICE guidelines, monitoring fluid balance, IV administration of fluids, results, side effects and precautions. You will also be taught how to constitute the bags and tailor to patients needs.

The course will equip delegates to be able to provide a phlebotomy service for private blood tests in a community pharmacy.

Theoretical and practical teaching of establishing a private walk-in clinic in a community pharmacy setting. The course will cover how to set up the clinic, clinical consultations and skills covering ENT, chest infections, dermatology, cardiology and UTIs.
