This is an interactive webinar course offering an overview of the everchanging role of AI technologies within clinical practice and medical education. Recognition of the skills needed to adopt AI in the modern clinical setting, and potential barriers to this adoption will be discussed in depth. Critical assessment of the effectiveness, suitability and potential of AI in clinical and learning environments will also be explored.

Specialty training programmes require Supervisors to take a holistic approach that addresses not only professional, educational and clinical learning goals, but also recognises and responds to trainees' pastoral needs. This interactive session provides supervisors with an overview of the key mental health and wellbeing problems that may arise for trainees, such as depression and anxiety, chronic stress and being at risk of burnout. It will also explore how personality traits can impact a doctor's wellbeing and progress through training. Through case- based exercises Supervisors will have the opportunity to discuss and reflect upon their roles as well as refresh their skills and practice having conversations around mental health.

This program is designed for NHS professionals stepping into the role of case investigator, equipping them with essential skills for investigating performance concerns. The training will be delivered by a Responsible Officer with extensive experience in leadership, management, quality assurance, and clinical service peer review and will be co-facilitated by an experienced former detective, who has a wealth of experience of investigative practices for HR, tribunal, civil and criminal investigations. This programme provides an overview of neurodiverse conditions and their manifestations in behaviour. It explores ways in which supervisors might recognise those behaviours and support staff members who may or may not be aware of conditions that could be causing difficulties in the workplace. The course will encourage delegates to consider, in the context of clinical safety, situations where the environment could and should be adjusted to enable the benefits of increased diversity in the clinical workforce and where neurodiversity might present a barrier to achieving competency required for a role.

This newly developed programme has been designed to be unique to the organisations that they are being delivered to, by incorporating the results of their trainer/ trainee survey. We will work closely with the organisation to ensure that what is being dealt with well, any red flags that there may be etc. is all used to design a pertinent and bespoke training session.
