Reducing the environmental impacts of the built environment has become a priority. As the built environment is a significant contributor to man-made emissions, it is imperative that we better understand the main causes of these emissions. Buildings generate emissions throughout their lifetime, from design, build, use and end-of-life disposal. The F Gas Regulations were developed by the European Union to phase down the use of fluorinated (F) gases within its member countries.
