Duty to Manage Asbestos

This online asbestos awareness course teaches candidates about asbestos facts and why it is dangerous. The course covers properties of asbestos, where it has been used in buildings, and when it may present a risk. The course aims to help candidates to protect themselves from the risk of exposure to airborne asbestos fibres, and provides information on how to comply with the health and safety rules of the asbestos legislation, and how to deal with asbestos exposure. Upon completion of the course and final assessment, candidates will receive their Asbestos Awareness certificate.

The Manual Handling Awareness course is designed for employers and employees alike and aims to educate students on safe manual handling techniques, the risks involved and regulations regarding manual handling. The course also provides ROSPA-approved Manual Handling Awareness Certification upon completion of the final assessment.

This course will give you an introductory overview of Working at Heights regulations and how they can be implemented. Falls from heights are one of the most common causes of injury in the workplace. Whether it’s a person or an object that falls, such incidents can cause serious injuries and even prove fatal. Incidents can involve people at work and people who happen to be passing by. Working at height tasks are governed by the Work at Height Regulations 2005 (WAH), whose purpose is to reduce the risk of injury to oneself or others when working at height.
