About the CPD Course

This course gives an understanding how autism is defined in law, described by autistic people and defined by clinicians, understanding why some autistic people may become involved in criminality, either as a victim or perpetrator. This course also looks at why someone on the autism spectrum might be vulnerable in police settings and identifying ways of supporting an individual on the autism spectrum both within the community and at the police station.
