Do you find yourself in challenging situations with customers, colleagues or others you interact with throughout your work day? Would you like to improve your assertiveness in handling potentially difficult situations? If so, this course aims to provide toolbox techniques to develop your confidence in handling difficult situations. The day is split into three key areas, 1) What actually is challenge and conflict, and how does it arise? 2) How do we handle challenging scenarios and what alternatives are available? 3) A workshop session looking at how we handle written and verbal complaints, aimed at developing a variety of suitable and engaging responses to issues we might face within the workplace.
