Neurodivergent Women in Focus, A Guide to Empathic Care

This course provides an in-depth exploration of neurodivergence in perinatal care. Delegates will gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of critical topics such as, health inequalities, autism, ADHD, and trauma-informed approaches of diverse communities. The curriculum covers Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, Executive Functioning, hormonal influences, stimming behaviours, ADHD medication in pregnancy, infant feeding, and real-life case studies. Delegates will acquire practical insights that will inform their care standards in their clinical practice thus improving care outcomes for neurodivergent women in maternity settings.
