About the CPD Course

This workshop suitable for those who have completed the One Day Mental Health for Line Managers training. Participants will gain the ability to comprehend the significance of employing supportive language pertaining to mental health, identify various factors that impact mental health, specifically focusing on the menopause and neurodiversity. Additionally, participants will acquire an understanding of the rationale behind promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace to eradicate the stigma linked to mental health. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to enhance their abilities in engaging in supportive conversations with individuals who disclose mental health issues, as well as learning how to provide practical assistance signpost for support.

Our wellbeing services include counselling, coaching, onsite weight loss programmes, health information and support services for employees. Our pop up wellbeing sessions have become increasingly popular and we hold regular half day sessions across Somerset. All our work is business to business.

This training aims to give line managers mental health awareness, essential communication skills to handle difficult conversations, and a broader understanding of how to promote a culture of wellbeing. This training includes how to spot the early warning signs of mental health and provide Line managers with the skills and confidence needed to intervene and have the supportive conversations necessary.
