Introduction to Resilience

A half or one-day workshop for NHS professionals, reinforcing the importance of organisational resilience - as required in the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and related guidance. The key message is that the NHS needs to be able to plan for and respond to a wide range of incidents and emergencies that could affect health or patient care. Attendees will, Understand the importance of a resilient NHS, Be able to contribute to their organisation's Business Continuity and Risk Management programmes, Develop an ongoing programme aimed at the greater resilience of their own services.
