This seminar provides an overview of lightning phenomena and methods of protection against it according to various standards - in particular the British Standard BS EN 62305 - and an appreciation of the system approach required to protect a facility. It gives an understanding of the use of risk assessments, product types and solutions, installation and testing. Develop an understanding of different scenarios and applications and how to protect them from the effects of a lightning strike.
