Throughout the course, participants will delve into the fundamental principles of COSHH, learning about the types of hazardous substances, their potential risks, and the importance of proper handling and storage.

The aim of this Module is to enable the participant to support and care for themselves and others while working with cranes in the industry by possessing the required knowledge, skills and ability to conduct assigned tasks safely and efficiently. They will be able to conduct crane techniques and signalling during operations, meaning lifts conducted based on a lifting plan or covering hazards.

The information in the course will enable you to take responsibility for fire safety in your workplace and protect everyone’s wellbeing.

The course provides skills for inspecting PPE for working at height and designed to satisfy the inspection requirements of several UK regulations (PUWER, LOLER AND WAHR) Participants learn the requirements for obsolescence, care and maintenance for a range of personal equipment and are taught specific inspection criteria for each category of product.

Identifying the main aims and objectives of the training session. Outline the different elements required to meet the relevant standard identify resources required to deliver the training course. Maintain the ability to review the training session with a section for Instructor notes and reviewal notes.

The First Aid at Work course is a 1 day course developed in consultation with HSE that covers many emergencies that may occur in the workplace. This course covers regulatory requirements of emergency first aid and is ideal for anyone in any workplace. Accidents and incidents requiring a first aid response can occur at any time and this course will give you the confidence to respond to potentially life-threatening situations quickly and correctly.

The aim of this module is to enable the participants, through theoretical and practical training, to use basic personal protective equipment, work safely at heights and perform comprehensive basic rescue from heights in a working environment. Overall learning objective for the module, After having successfully completed this Module, the participants have the ability to act safely and responsibly and apply good techniques when working at heights and performing comprehensive basic rescue from heights. (Ability, intermediate level).
