Investigative skills and evidence gathering refresher

This five-day course is designed for law-enforcement analysts (also suitable for researchers and investigators in other fields). It will enable delegates to apply analytical techniques to communications-data, and to use that analysis for operational purposes. The course will, explain the processes and legislation that govern the acquisition and use of comms-data, interpret and integrate this comms-data with other operational-data (information, digital-media, evidence) to build processes/products that will aid investigative teams, recognise the threats and opportunities that comms-data pose to investigations, and define the role of the analyst in the courtroom particularly relating to the evidential use of comms-data.
